Downhill skiing features the longest course and the fastest speeds, whereas slalom is the most technical with the quickest course, requiring lightening speed turns. Whereas the nordic events also to be held at Whistler, the snowboarding and freestyle skiing at the 2010 Winter Olympics will be taking place on Cypress Mountain, one of the most popular areas for cross-country skiing. Spectators can enjoy a variety of moguls, aerials and jumps, all scored for a combination of air, form and landing.
