Arlberg – The ski resorts
The Arlberg ski area covers the ski resorts of Lech, Zurs, Zug, Stuben, St. Chistoph and St. Anton and an altitude from 1450m to 2460m., one lift pass covers the whole area of 82 lifts. The internationally renound resort of St Anton has great skiing and loud nightlife, this is the big budget option in Arlberg. Lech is good for intermediate skiers and is a lively resort and St. Christoph is a quieter ‘fairy tale’ ski resort. Zurs is known for its’ high quality accommodation and famous visitors.

The Arlberg ski area covers a vast choice of skiing; there are good ski schools across the region for beginners and excellent children’s facilities in some of the resorts. There are many long blue and red runs for intermediate skiers across Arlberg and not too much queuing at the ski lifts. There are 30 challenging black runs across the Arlberg ski area and loads of off piste skiing. There is plenty of choice of terrain for snowboarders in the Arlberg area; St. Anton has some of the best snowboarding terrain in Austria. St. Anton is world famous for its’ excellent nightlife, Lech is also lively and has a good choice of bars, restaurants and nightclubs, Zurs and St.Christoph have some top class restaurants available.
