Zurs Resort Facilities

Ski School
The resort has a ski school with an excellent reputation, and although group lessons are offered, almost all visitors to Zurs choose to take private lessons, with many instructors getting booked up for the entire season by regular clients. Heli-skiing lessons are available, as are private off-piste skiing guides.

Children
Skiing lessons are offered for children aged 4 and up, and every week there is a childs' ski race down the mountain, with each participant receiving a medal. The resort offers a ski kindergarten for children aged 3.

Apres-ski
Apres-ski is of high-quality, with a select 7 bars and one disco offering upscale entertainment, including places such as a piano bar and cocktail lounge, which add to the resorts' chic atmosphere.

Eating out
Zurs skiing features 17 restaurants serving a range of traditional and international cuisine, including some highly-regarded gourmet establishments requiring reservations, as well as cosy local restaurants (note that some restaurants do not accept credit cards).    

Shopping
The compact village is mainly home to luxury hotels, but the village has a department store, as well as a few shops and boutiques selling ski clothing, equipment for skiing and souvenirs, and a grocer selling supplies. More extensive shopping can be found in Lech. 

Services
Zurs has 2 banks, a post office and a museum, and a regular ski bus service to Lech.

Medical facilities
There is a doctor and a chemist in the town and an Emergency Medical Rescue Service is available in Lech.
