Westendorf Resort Facilities

Ski School 

There are 3 ski schools in the resort, with the level of tuition highly rated. Tuition is offered in the form of group and private lessons and there is a carving academy for adults and children.

Childcare 

Westendorf has a non-skiing kindergarten taking children aged 18 months to 4, and several of the hotels offer crèches and private babysitting. Children’s' lessons are available for all ages in the Mini-Club and Kids Club, and as the resort is a favourite with British families, the schools are busy during school holidays.

Shopping 

A selection of 30 shops sells a variety of goods including skiwear and sporting equipment, clothing and souvenirs.

 

Dining 

There are 40 restaurants in the resort, including 9 up on the mountain, and cuisine in the resort is a mix of traditional Austrian and international. Those in the village are generally hotel-based.

 

Après Ski 

Après ski is varied throughout the village, with 10 bars and one nightclub offering everything from lively all-night entertainment to quiet drinks by the fire, and regional themed nights. 

 

Town Services 

Includes two banks with cash points, two supermarkets, hairdressers and petrol stations. A free bus service takes skiers to the Ski Welt area.

Medical Facilities 

There is a doctor in Westendorf, and a chemist in Kitzbuhel, which is the nearest town about 15km away.
