Valloire Resort Facilities
Ski School
Valloire has an established ESF ski school, employing over 100 ski instructors, including many English-speakers, and offering tuition in everything from basic learn-to-ski and snowboard, to specialist skills such as slalom and freestyle.
Childcare
The crèche in the resort takes children aged 6-months to 6 years, and there are babysitting services in town. A ski kindergarten offers ski instruction for ages 3 and up (or 4 during the French school holidays).
Shopping
A good choice of village shops, including ski and sports shops, as well as clothing, gift and souvenir shops, and 2 supermarkets. A popular Christmas Market takes place in the town square.
Dining
Over 20 restaurants, including 4 up on the mountain, and offering a varied range to suit all tastes and budgets, with the emphasis on local Savoyard fare.
Après-Ski
As the resort is mainly family-friendly, the après-ski scene is informal and relaxed, with a good number of bars to visit, and 2 nightclubs.
Town Services
As well as the shops and restaurants, Valloire has 3 banks with cash points, a post office, library, beauty salon and hairdressers.
Medical Facilities
There is a doctor in the village and a chemist.
