There are beauty salons and spas throughout the region, with visitors to Vallnord able to enjoy the famous Caldea Thermal Spa, the largest in Europe, home to a selection of lagoons and linked-pools, jacuzzis, baths, steam rooms, relaxation rooms and treatment areas, as well as fountains and waterfalls. 

 

The best shopping is in Andorra la Vella, the capital, for duty-free deals on items such as electronics, computers, jewellery, watches, perfume and alcohol.

 

Eclectic dining in Vallnord features everything from traditional Andorran, Basque or Catalan cuisine to Mexican and Chinese fare, with hotels housing many of the good restaurants in the region.

 

Arinsal has a thriving apres-ski scene, with plenty of bars by the gondola, and the nightlife can be lively, however in general the evenings are fairly laid-back. Bars offer themed evenings, quiz nights and parties, or guests can choose to simply relax in a local bar or 'borda'.
