Vallnord Resort Facilities

Ski school
Every resort has its own ski school, (with Arinsal home to two, employing more than 200 instructors) each offering basic learn-to-ski or snowboard packages as well as specialist techniques for more advanced skiers.

Children
Again, each resort in Vallnord has a nursery or creche, taking babies from ages 1-4, and there's a children's snow park for ages 4-8.

Shopping
The four towns have a selection of shops, ranging from small ski hire and sports shops to local bakeries, clothing and gift shops. As Andorra is known for its duty-free status, there are plenty of great deals to be had, with the best shopping found in Andorra La Vella.

Dining
A varied dining scene can be found in Vallnord, with Arinsal in particular boasting a huge range of restaurants, serving everything from traditional Andorran, French and Spanish cuisine, to classic British, Italian, Chinese and Mexican food.

Apres-ski
Arinsal is the liveliest region in Vallnord, with 24 bars to choose from. There's a range of entertainment options in the area including Irish pubs, English bars, cocktail bars and local Andorran 'bordas' for a more traditional feel.

Town services
Arinsal is well-equipped with banks with cashpoints, a post office, two supermarkets, an internet cafe and a launderette, whilst the smaller Ordino-Arcalis has banks and supermarkets, too. Regular buses run between the different sectors in the region.

Medical facilities
Each resort has a medical centre, and there is a chemist in Arinsal.
