There are a number of day spas in Telluride, the most popular being the spa at the Peaks Resort, offering a huge range of treatments, and also a gym, steam rooms, saunas and jacuzzis. Natural hot springs are located just an hour away.  Telluride is home to a charming downtown full of Victorian architecture, unique shops and boutiques and a wealth of small art galleries, and there is a historical museum, cinema, library and theatre in town. Downtown Telluride and the mountain village are conveniently linked by gondola.

 

There is a high standard of dining in the town, with restaurants and cafes offering a range of gourmet restaurants and casual eateries, serving French, Italian, Chinese and seafood, as well as authentic Western fare in the local saloons and taverns. Most places are child-friendly.

 

The atmosphere for apres-ski is laid-back and casual, with a number of local bars and pubs with live music, dancing and pool tables, as well as cosy coffee shops and lounges.
