Telluride Resort Facilities

Telluride Ski and Snowboard School enjoys a good reputation and offers everything from learn-to-ski packages to advanced skill clinics, and includes an adaptive sports programme.

 

Childcare is offered for ages 2 months to 3 years up in the Mountain Village Activity Centre, and kids ski lessons are available for children aged 3-12, (snowboarding aged 7). 

 

There is a collection of over 60 mainly small one-of-a-kind shops, boutiques and speciality stores in Telluride, selling clothing, jewellery, gifts, antiques, as well as skiwear and sports equipment, and numerous art galleries.

 

Over 50 restaurants offer a wide range of dining options, from casual cafes and coffeehouses to gourmet restaurants, and French, Asian, Mexican and Italian fare.   

 

Casual après-ski scene has 20 bars, with local ski bars, taverns, saloons and microbreweries, as well as an Irish pub, martini bar and an oxygen bar. 

 

Most facilities are located either in Telluride or in the mountain village, which are linked by gondola. The resort is small and pedestrian-friendly. It also offers the services of numerous banks, a post office, supermarkets, off-licences, library, cinema and an internet cafe.

 

Telluride has a medical centre and a chemist.
