Sunshine Village Things To Do
Things to do
Sunshine Village boasts the only ski-in/ski-out accommodation in the Banff area, so is ideal for those looking for convenient access to the slopes. There is a decent choice of dining and entertainment options, but for non-skier activities, extensive shopping and interesting day trips, most skiers head to the town of Banff.

Banff Hot Springs offer a great place to unwind in natural mineral waters, set against spectacular scenery, and the region is full of spas and day centres for therapeutic and relaxing treatments. Banff itself, just 15 minutes away, offers plenty to see and do, with hundreds of shops, from craft stores to malls, and a great selection of museums and art galleries. The National Park offers tours for wildlife watching.
Dining
Skiers staying at Sunshine Village have a good choice of restaurants to suit all budgets, but for much more selection, Banff offers an array of dining options, from local Canadian fare to international cuisine such as Italian, Swiss, French, Austrian and Thai. Try some Rocky Mountain meat and game specialities such as bison, elk and boar.
Apres-ski
There are a couple of busy ski bars in Sunshine Village but, again, more choice in Banff. For a lively outing, visit the local saloons and pubs for nightly specials and Western line-dancing, or for a more sedate evening, hotels offer quieter lounges and wine bars.
