Sunshine Village Resort Facilities
Ski school
Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard School has a very good reputation and employs 50 instructors. Choose from a full range of tuition for all levels, from basic learn-to-ski and learn to board packages to specialist clinics, camps and workshops.
Childcare
Childcare is offered at Tiny Tigers Day-care, for children aged 19 months - 6 years old. For young skiers aged from 3 - 6, Tiny Tigers Ski and Play combines lessons with playtime, whilst older children aged 6-12 can enjoy lessons through the Kids Kampus programme. The Sunshine Mountain Riders takes teenager skiers and boarders on days out exploring the slopes.
Shops
Sunshine village has a limited range of shops, apart from ski rental and equipment shops, however the town of Banff, just 15 minutes away, boasts a haven for shoppers of all kinds, home to charming local craft and souvenir shops and high-street malls.
Dining
There's a choice of 8 restaurants in Sunshine Village, offering everything from cafes and snack bars to outdoor barbeques and grills, and fine dining establishments. Choose from restaurants at the base area, the village or at the Goats Eye ski area.
Après-ski
Sunshine Village has a couple of apres-ski spots, some lively when the lifts close and offering live music, but for more choice, Banff has plenty of saloons and pubs to suit everyone, and after-hours spots including jazz bars and night clubs.
Town services
Sunshine Village is home to a good choice of accommodation, and has basic services for guests including lockers, cash point machines, ski rental and a general store. The resort also runs a convenient bus service to Banff.

Sunshine Village has a ski patrol, and the nearest hospital is in Banff.
