Sunday River Ski Holidays
Skiing in Sunday River
Sunday River, in Bethel, a picture-postcard classic New England town complete with clapboard houses, old inns and white steepled church spires, is a sprawling ski resort known for its’ extensive snow-making and grooming facilities, and terrain for all levels of skiers. Sunday River is where one of the largest ski development companies, American Skiing Company, was founded, and consequently the resort has been transformed from a sleepy little resort to one of the most expanded and well-managed ski areas in the east.
Skiing in Sunday River – The Mountains
Sunday River has 128 trails spread out over 8 linked mountains, all served by 18 lifts, with 3 separate base camps, the primary one being South Ridge.
