There are two local hot springs, Old Town and Strawberry Park Hot Springs, as well as a number of spas and salons for beauty treatments and services. The town has a library, a museum and 2 cinemas, and the downtown main street is lined with cafes, quaint shops and local galleries in which to browse. There are various organised events in the resort during ski season, such as music concerts, a family snow festival, winter carnival and the famous Cowboy Downhill Race (held in late January).

 

Steamboat has a huge dining scene with plenty of variety, catering to all tastes and budgets. There's everything from cowboy steak dinners and Western barbeques to fine dining, fusion restaurants and sushi bars. Don't miss some classic Colorado fare such as elk, buffalo, lamb and trout, and sample beer made at the local microbreweries.

 

Home to a relaxed but sometimes busy scene, the resort offers a good range of pubs and bars, featuring happy hours, live music, pool tables and televised sports, as well as a couple of nightclubs.
