St Anton Resort Facilities

Ski schools
St Anton has two established ski schools, which are under the same ownership. Both offer a high level of tuition, with plenty of English-speaking instructors. Services range from beginners group lessons, to instruction on ski safari and touring, and includes private tuition in specialised techniques, such as off-piste and heli-skiing. 

Childcare
The resort has a children’s' ski school offering tuition for children aged 4 - 14, a nursery for ages 2 1/2 and up (must be out of nappies) and a host of babysitting and child-minding facilities. Most hotels offer childcare facilities. Children under 9 can ski for free, with considerable discounts for under-16's. In Nasserein, there is a moving carpet, and a children’s' play and activity centre.  

Town facilities
In town there are two doctors, a dentist and a chemist, with the nearest hospital being located in Zams. St Anton has 3 banks, with 24-hour cash-point facilities, a post office, a Tourist Office and car rental companies. With a convenient pedestrian area, St Anton is a lively and pleasant town to walk round, with plenty of visitors, but ample shops, cafes and bars to satisfy the crowds. There are numerous shops offering rental equipment, and places selling everything from high-tech ski gear to antiques and jewellery. For those on a self-catering holiday, there are a handful of convenient supermarkets.  

Restaurants
The lively town of St Anton offers a wealth of places to eat, serving everything from fast-food to gourmet fare, in a choice of over 60 restaurants - 18 of which are located up on the mountains. Choose from regional Austrian cuisine, sophisticated five-star dining and numerous restaurants serving everything from Chinese to Mexican, at a range of prices to suit all budgets. 

Après-ski
Known for its superb range of après-ski at reasonable prices, St Anton quite simply buzzes with life. Boasting everything from traditional old hostelries, to raucous bars and all-night clubs and discos, the scene is brash and bustling, with the resort attracting its fair share of party-animals, on and off the slopes.
