Squaw Valley High Camp at the top of the cable car is the place for many of the outdoor activities, such as swimming in the outdoor lagoon (opens late March) and the Adventure Centre offers a climbing wall and trampolining. A number of health clubs and spas in the area offer relaxing treatments and spa services, with facilities in many of the hotels. The Olympic Museum is an interesting excursion, and a trip on the cable car lets non-skiers enjoy the beauty and stunning scenery of the Californian Mountains.
Après Ski And Dining
Bars, pubs, breweries and casinos on the north shore offer plenty of entertainment, and there are dining options to suit all tastes and budgets. Plenty of choice is offered in the pedestrian village, from casual breakfast bars to five star dining. North Lake Tahoe offers even more great dining options, many just half an hour away.
