Skiing holidays in squaw valley

Skiing in Squaw Valley USA
Squaw Valley, on the quiet North Shores of Lake Tahoe, is spread over six peaks within the Sierra Mountains. The resort receives a massive 450”of snowfall a year, creating fabulous conditions within some of the steepest terrain in the country – one of the reasons why Squaw Valley is considered the birth place of Extreme Skiing. Despite being one of the best known ski resorts in Lake Tahoe, having hosted the 1960 Winter Olympic Games, Squaw Valley is still family owned, and having currently overseen a $250m facelift, in terms of investment in its’ lift system and pedestrian village, is now a world away from the Olympic resort of 35 years ago.
