Recreation
Several health and beauty centres offer saunas, massages and a range of treatments and services. Family entertainment includes days out in the bowling alley or swimming pool, sleigh-rides or floodlit tobogganing.  

Soll retains its village atmosphere, and its pedestrian centre is dominated by a beautiful Baroque church, with its impressive dome. Pleasant to walk around, the village is full of traditional architecture and the mountain views are stunning. Although shopping is fairly limited, there are places to buy skiwear and traditional wooden souvenirs.

Apres-ski
Although Soll is still lively with a young easygoing atmosphere, the après-ski has calmed down a little in recent years, but remains predominately British, especially in peak season. A choice of bars and pubs continue to offer a varied scene, with fairly low prices, and the nightly entertainment ranges from packed clubs open till the early hours, to Tyrolean music events in cosy inns, perfect for families.

Dining
The dining scene in Soll features both hearty Alpine specialities and casual fast food. Choose from gourmet establishments, rustic mountain huts, informal pubs and cafes, Italian pizzerias and American-style restaurants. Prices are generally competitive throughout the resort. Don't miss regional fare such as knodel (dumplings), wurst (sausages) and hearty soups and stews, as well as the regions' delicious apple strudel and Kaiserschmarrn (raisin cake).

Day trips from Soll include visiting the neighbouring villages on the Ski Welt circuit, especially the charming village of Westendorf, or a trip to Salzburg or Innsbruck.
