Ski Circus Snow Conditions

Ski Circus Snow Conditions – Guaranteed snow coverage means daily skiing for all
At Ski Circus, with the 2 main skiing resorts of Saalbach and Hinterglemm being located at the foot of the scenic Glemm Valley, sometimes skiers can worry about whether season-long snow coverage will be on offer. But with Glemm Valley investing in top-of-the-range snowmaking equipment in recent years, snow upon snow upon snow is what you can expect. Skiers (and snowboarders) of all abilities can arrive at wonderful Ski Circus in Austria at any time during the season and find snow covered slopes to suit them. The powerful combination of sunny south-facing slopes, crisp snow retaining north runs, and cold temperatures makes first-class skiing conditions all-day-long guaranteed at Ski Circus. (The sunny south-facing nursery slopes of Hinterglemm offer the best area for first-time skiers to begin their skiing education).

Snow Conditions in Ski Circus – The season runs from December to April
Wherever you head for each day during your Ski Circus holiday, you can look forward to hour-after-hour of great skiing in season, all beneath a clear blue sky. Where the snow conditions in Hinterglemm can be less than reliable on the lower levels, snow cannons are in place to compensate, particularly at the beginning and end of the season, which runs from December to April. Across the Ski Circus region the runs are well-groomed and highly maintained. Upperslope averages can reach 140cm, and to as high as 179cm in peak season.

Snow Conditions in Ski Circus – The place to head for assured snow cover
Overall at Ski Circus the best conditions on the slopes are in February and March. With such a reliable snow record at Ski Circus, many tourists from other resorts in the surrounding Tyrol head for Ski Circus when they occasionally experience low snow cover in their chosen resort. Ski Circus has a reputation for being a Snowsure Region throughout each skiing season, in fact, and is a magnet for skiers and snowboarders who want to forget worrying about assured snow cover, and simply focus 100 per cent on enjoying practising their skills on world-class slopes.
