Sestriere Resort Facilities

Sestriere has 4 ski schools, with 150 instructors teaching all levels of skier and boarder in plenty of different disciplines.

 

Childcare And Families 

Sestriere offers one daycare centre for ages 2-5, with facilities fairly limited for a resort of its size. Lessons are available for ages 5 and up, and the level of children’s' tuition is highly rated in the resort.

A major shopping centre, the resort has more than 130 shops selling a wide range of goods, including skiwear and skiing equipment, sportswear, designer clothing, antiques, jewellery and souvenirs. Self-caterers can shop in 3 supermarkets as well as various delis and speciality food shops.

 

Dining 

There are 33 restaurants, including 10 on the mountain, offering mainly Italian food at a range of prices, with plenty of casual pizzerias and trattorias for affordable family dining.

 

Après ski 

The town has 30 bars and a nightclub, and the general atmosphere is cosmopolitan yet friendly, with a number of places hosting quiz nights and karaoke evenings.

 

Town Services 

As well as the shops, bars and restaurants, services include 3 banks with cash points, a post office, tourist office and petrol stations.

Medical Facilities 

There is a doctor in Sestriere, together with first-aid facilities and a chemist.
