Sestriere Ski Holidays
Sestriere Skiing Holidays
Sestriere is situated at 2035m in the heart of the Milky Way ski area, surrounded on 3 sides by stunning, snowy peaks. Sestriere was one of the first purpose built ski resorts in the world and is the host of World Cup skiing and the 2006 Winter Olympics. Sestriere is a sunny resort and due to the high altitude and excellent snow making facilities the snow conditions are usually superb. There is a range of skiing for every level of skier and as Sestriere is part of the Milky Way ski area there is a total of 400kms of skiing. Sestriere is not the prettiest of Italian ski resorts but has good resort facilities and an international atmosphere while still being a good value destination.
