Dining
Ladin cuisine is an interesting mix of Italian and German, with Tyrolean specialities including 'panicia' - a barley soup, 'saura - a tripe soup, dumplings and buckwheat pancakes. Prices are very reasonable in the Val Gardena area, and most restaurants are child-friendly.
Après-Ski
The après-ski scene is the most cosmopolitan of the area and has a distinct German flair, with numerous beer-halls and lots of singing and dancing in the many bars and cafes.
