Sauze d'Oulx Resort Facilities

The resort has 3 ski schools, with the two main ones having a good selection of English-speaking instructors, and offering extensive learn-to-ski packages for beginners, as well as lessons in specialist skills.  

 

Dumbo Kindergarten takes babies from 13 months and children up to 6, and lessons are offered for those aged 4 and up. There is also a children's playground in town.

 

The traditional town centre has 30 shops, including many ski and sportswear shops, and selling clothes, furniture, jewellery, gifts and handicrafts. There is a also a good choice of grocers and specialty food and wine shops, and a local market each Friday.

 

There are 31 restaurants and pizzerias, serving a wide range of food from English breakfasts and take-away to gourmet French and regional Italian cuisine. Choose from 15 places for lunch and dinner up on the mountain.

 

Sauze d'Oulx boasts a famously lively après-ski scene, with its excellent selection of 20 bars and pubs for guests featuring plenty of live music and happy hours, and two late-night discos. 

 

As well as the shops, there are 2 banks (with currency exchange), a post office, tourist office, internet cafes, hairdressers and a launderette.

 

Sauze d'Oulx has a chemist, doctor and hospital in town.
