Relaxing facilities are offered in some of the hotels, including saunas and Turkish baths. The town is compact, with everything easily accessible, and offers a traditional atmosphere with an old-world charm. Bormio, just 15 minutes away is a great place to visit, and home to various museums and the famous thermal baths. Livigno boasts duty-free shopping, whilst St. Moritz offers a glamorous day trip to Switzerland. The scenic Stelvio National Parks is the largest in Italy, and features a great collection of flora and fauna.
Dining and apres ski
Apres ski is very low-key and rustic, with just a couple of hotels bars and local pubs. Prices are very reasonable, and the village sometimes hosts themed nights and entertainment. The restaurants and pizzerias are family-friendly, serving local cuisine as well as international fare. Try regional specialities featuring lots of polenta, mushrooms, chestnuts, game and locally produced cheeses.
