Saas Fee Resort Facilites

Two ski schools - the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School and the Eskimo Ski and Snowboard School - offer private and group lessons, and tuition in skills such as freestyle skiing and Nordic skiing. Two guiding companies also offer ski touring, heli-skiing and off-piste tours.

 

Two nurseries take children from 18-months to 6, whilst ski lessons are available for ages 3 and up, and there is a fun park in the resort for very young children. Special events such as craft afternoons and fairytale story sessions are held, and fun family activities include tobogganing and tubing. 

Saas Fee has around 30 shops in the village, with many ski and sports shops, boutiques, jewellery, gift and craft shops, as well as local bakeries and butchers.

 

Good choice of cuisine in the resort's 44 restaurants, which include casual pizzerias, traditional chalets serving rustic Swiss fare and Michelin-starred establishments.

 

A total of 15 bars and 2 nightclubs offer lively spots when the lifts close, with live music, DJ's and happy hours, as well as a choice of cosy coffee bars, bakeries and tearooms. The apres-ski scene is excellent in Saas Fee, offering a number of places to hang out.

The car-free village features an electric bus service which runs from the village to the lifts, and has 4 banks, 3 supermarkets, a post office, tourist office, internet cafe, hairdressers, and a petrol station.

Saas Fee has a doctor and a chemist.
