Saalbach Piste Information
Piste Information
Together with nearby Hinterglemm, Saalbach combines to form Ski Circus – one of the biggest lift-linked resorts in Austria, with over 200km of runs. Families on a skiing holiday in Saalbach will find excellent slopes for all abilities. Confident intermediates are particularly well catered for here, with long, wide and challenging red runs dominating the huge ski area. Meanwhile, beginners will appreciate the nine excellent ski schools and good nursery slopes. Although expert-only terrain is limited, advanced skiers in Saalbach can head for the north-facing Zwolferkogel and its 3km of black mogul descent. There is also 100km of off-piste terrain to be explored in the company of a local guide. Additionally, skiers in Saalbach can take advantage of some 10km of prepared cross-country skiing. With some of the liveliest apres-ski in Austria, ski holidays in Saalback are an enduring favourite and attract huge numbers of repeat visitors.
