Quebec Resort Facilities

Ski School
The larger resorts in Quebec have their own ski schools offering a range of lessons, from learn-to-ski packages and family sessions, to private tuition with specialised instruction and mountain guiding.

Childcare
Daycare for ages 6 months and older, private babysitting services, and outdoor play areas. The resorts offer children's skiing lessons from age 3, and snowboarding for over-7's.

Shopping
There's a good choice of ski and sportswear in the larger centres, whilst the smaller towns are more limited, with rustic stores selling local produce, and plenty of regional produce such as cheese and chocolate. The best shopping is in Mont Tremblant, where boutiques, gift shops and art galleries line the pedestrian village centre.

Dining
Mont Tremblant in particular is home to a great range of 38 restaurants, serving both Canadian fare and international cuisine to suit all budgets, including a number of French specialities, such as crepes and fondues. Le Massif is known for its excellent on-mountain dining.

Apres-Ski
Apres-ski entertainment is varied, with plenty of ski bars boasting happy hours, live music and televised sports, and even casinos in Mont Tremblant and Le Massif, as well as quieter local cafe and bars offering a friendly base for families.

Town Services
Resorts offer a range of services, including bus services, supermarkets, banks with cashpoints, post offices, spas and hair salons, internet cafes, dry cleaners, launderettes and car rental.

Medical Facilities
First aid centres and clinics, as well as doctors and chemists in the town.
