Ski School
The resort's ski school has a good reputation, and employs a number of English-speaking instructors, offering basic tuition and lessons in freestyle, facing and off-piste techniques.
Childcare
Passo Tonale has childcare for guests at the Miniclub for newborns to age 3, and facilities for children in the ski kindergarten, Fantaski, include a children's piste served by a special lift and magic carpet.
Shopping
The town has ski shops, supermarkets and local services such as a newsagent and tobacconist, but for more choice, head to nearby Ponte di Legno, a more charming and traditional town, where there is local speciality shops to browse.
Dining
Passo Tonale has a total of 19 restaurants, including 4 up on the mountain, serving authentic Alpine cuisine and local Italian specialties.
Après-Ski
Although the resort is generally quiet and relaxed, being popular with young groups, the après-ski can get fairly lively during holiday seasons. A choice of 10 bars and 3 clubs await skiers and boarders looking for nightlife.
Town Services
The purpose-built resort is home to mainly apartments and hotels, but is also home to a bank as well as a small selection of shops.
Medical Facilities
Passo Tonale has a medical centre and a chemist.
