Ski School
Like other resorts in Andorra, the ski school at Pas de la Casa is of a high standard, with 180 multi-lingual staff, including many English-speaking instructors. Skiing beginners are especially welcome, and as well as standard group and private lessons, tuition offered includes skills such as competitive training and cross-country skiing techniques.
Child Care
There is a nursery in Pas de la Casa taking babies aged 1-3, and two snowgardens specifically used for lessons for children aged 3-6, with inflatable toys, rope lifts and conveyors, and a convenient cafeteria terrace where parents can watch.
Shopping
The resort has 20 shops, selling a huge range of duty-free bargains including perfume, cosmetics, electronics, clothing, tobacco and alcohol. Head to the capital, Andorra le Velle for even more choice.
Après-Ski
There are 30 drinking-holes for skiers to choose from, mainly catering to young people and with a true party spirit, offering bars with a fashionable and international atmosphere as well as British and Irish-style pubs. Happy hour starts as soon as the lifts close and there are 6 clubs and discos in the resort.
Dining
30 restaurants offer a great choice for diners, ranging from self-serve fast food to upscale gourmet eateries. There are traditional French, Italian and Catalan specialities, as well as English breakfasts, fondues, raclettes, pizza and pasta.
Town Facilities
With lively streets and a whole host of accommodation, the purpose-built town of Pas de la Casa also has 4 supermarkets, a bank, launderette, three car parks, a post office and a tourist office.
Medical Facilities
There is a convenient medical centre for emergencies, located in the service building at the foot of the resort, and two chemists in town.
