Skiing in Paradiski
The Paradiski ski area was created when the ski resorts of Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne were connected by the Vanoise Express cable car; it takes 4 minutes to cross the valley and has the capacity of 2000 people an hour. Paradiski covers 20 ski resorts with fantastic choice for every level of skier and every budget. With 425kms of ski slopes and 239 runs Paradiski has become one of the largest linked ski areas in the world. The ski altitude ranges from 1250m – 3250m.

The ski resorts of Paradiski
There are 20 ski resorts in Paradiski separated into three areas – Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne. Les Arcs is made up of 5 separate villages that are all purpose built and have good modern facilities. Peisey-Vallandry covers a valley of 5 traditional villages. La Plagne is made up of 6 lively mountain villages and 4 more traditional village resorts.

Skiing in Paradiski
With a choice of 239 ski runs there is something for every skier in Paradiski, it is a great area to learn to ski, there is a vast range of interlinked blue and red runs for intermediates and the 7 km Aiguille Rouge black run with a 2000m drop for advanced skiers. With the Bellecote and Aiguille Rouge glaciers there is also guaranteed snow. For snowboarders in Paradiski there is plenty of choice including board parks, half pipes and a boarder cross. There is also 150kms of cross-country skiing in Paradiski.

There is a huge choice of restaurants across the Paradiski area, from cheap burgers and pizzas to fondue and raclette, there is something to suit every taste and budget.There are quieter, family orientated resorts in Paradiski and lively bars and discos to be found in other resorts eg Arc 1600. Some villages are linked by bus or gondola, so a different resort can be experienced every night. From floodlit ice rinks, heated outdoor pools and the Olympic bobsleigh run in La Plagne to floodlit skiing and frozen waterfall climbing in Les Arcs there are many activities to experience in Paradiski.
