This 16th century mining town still holds its charming outdoor market each week, and has an attractive church and flowing river at its centre. There is an authentic cheesemakers in town, which still produces cheeses such as Reblochon and Tomme, and a slate mining tour for those interested in the towns' local industry. The ESF presents a History of Skiing show one night each week, and there are regular folklore evenings.

Dining
The town offers both rustic home cooking and elegant gourmet fare at a range of prices, with plenty of emphasis on hearty local Savoyarde specialities, such as raclette, tartiflette and fondue, and a great selection of regional wines.

Apres-Ski
With a lively but relaxed scene, Morzine has something for everyone in its compact centre, from quiet piano bars and lounges to a choice of two clubs for late-night dancing.
