Morzine Resort Facilities

In addition to ESF, there are other ski schools based in Morzine, such as the British Alpine Ski School and Ecole Ski Snowboard and Adventures, offering everything from learn-to-ski packages to private lessons in specialist techniques such as freeriding and cross-country.  

Morzine offers childcare for those as young as 3 months to 5 years at L'Outa Kindergarten, and the resorts' Club des Piou Piou arranges ski lessons for ages 3-12. A couple of private companies also offer babysitting services.  

 

Plenty of choice in town, with about 100 shops selling ski and sportswear, ski equipment, ski clothing, books, jewellery, gifts and souvenirs such as locally-made handicrafts. There are also 4 supermarkets, and a host of charming food shops and delicatessens selling famous regional cheeses, as well as breads, meats and wine. 

 

The town of Morzine is home to almost 40 restaurants, serving everything from fast-food and pizza, to traditional Savoyard specialities and gourmet fare. There is a choice of 8 restaurants that offer the chance for slopeside dining up on the mountain.

There are 15 bars and 2 discos creating a lively, yet relaxed, après-ski scene in Morzine, with plenty of pool tables and televised sport on big screens, as well as live music.

 

Include a Tourist Office, Post Office, Town Hall, 5 banks (most with cash points and foreign exchange), library, internet cafes, launderettes and a free bus that travels around the town.
