The sports centre has a whirlpool and sauna, and there are a couple of spas in town for beauty treatments. Various hotels offer gyms and fitness centres, too.

Excellent dining at some first-rate gourmet restaurants in the resort, with some only accessible by snowmobile for a unique on-mountain experience, and featuring specials such as meat cooked on hot stones. Cheaper pizzerias and trattorias serve up regional dishes such as risotto, polenta and pasta with plenty of cheese and bacon, and a number of casual cafes offer a great place for a quick breakfast or afternoon snack.

 

Entertainment in Madonna di Campiglio usually revolves around happy-hour drinks in town and the chance to see and be seen, followed by a leisurely dinner in one of the restaurants. The apres ski scene also includes 3 discos and clubs don't fill up until much later on, and attract a young and lively crowd, and there are folklore evenings for families.

 

The car-free centre is ideal for strolling around, and is home to plenty of shops and cafes, and the ideal spot for some leisurely people-watching after the lifts close. Local events include the World Cup 3-Tre Special Slalom in January and the Habsburg Festival in February. 

 

Non-skiers can explore the picturesque surrounding area, with the region boasting scenic drives and winter walks, and a number of unspoilt small towns, castles and ancient monuments in the Trentino countryside to tour. Venice and Verona are also possible day trips.
