The resort has an excellent selection of 9 ski schools, offering tuition in both skiing and snowboarding, and both private and group lessons available. As the resort attracts a predominantly Italian clientele, there are a limited number of English-speaking instructors, and it's advisable to pre-book beforehand. Ski schools also offer specific skills such as racing, telemarking and slalom, and arrange weekly races.

There's a choice of children’s ski lessons, with kids programmes and daily kindergartens available for ages. Various hotels offer different childcare and babysitting options.

Madonna di Campiglio's car-free centre has 44 shops in which to browse, selling ski and sportswear, designer clothing, and souvenirs such as locally-made woodcarvings.

The town has a medical centre, and chemist, whilst the local hospital at Tione is 30km away.
