The resort has an excellent selection of 9 ski schools, offering tuition in both skiing and snowboarding, and both private and group lessons available. As the resort attracts a predominantly Italian clientele, there are a limited number of English-speaking instructors, and it's advisable to pre-book beforehand. Ski schools also offer specific skills such as racing, telemarking and slalom, and arrange weekly races.

 

There's a choice of children’s ski lessons, with kids programmes and daily kindergartens available for ages. Various hotels offer different childcare and babysitting options.

 

Madonna di Campiglio's car-free centre has 44 shops in which to browse, selling ski and sportswear, designer clothing, and souvenirs such as locally-made woodcarvings. 

 

Madonna di Campiglio has a fantastic selection for diners, with 32 restaurants in and around the town, ranging from casual cafes and coffee bars selling snacks, to pizzerias and trattorias serving up hearty fare and local Italian specialities.

 

Attracting a young and lively clientele, the resort boasts 24 bars to visit when the lifts close, and 3 discos for late-night music and dancing.

The town has a medical centre, and chemist, whilst the local hospital at Tione is 30km away.
