The spread-out nature of the resort means that travel by car, taxi or bus may sometimes be necessary.

The slopes
The wide, sunny slopes of Livigno are perfect for mixed-ability groups. The resort is well equipped for the beginner and intermediate level skier, while more advanced skiers can enjoy 17km of difficult slopes, as well as some challenging off-piste skiing and good tree runs. Snow coverage is good, particularly on the higher slopes - the highest lift reaches 3,000m and the lowest 1,800m. The total vertical drop measures 1,200m. There are good facilities for boarders, including a board park. Forty kilometres of cross-country trails are also available to skiers in Livigno.
