There's plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, both on and off the snow, and a laid-back atmosphere and Old-World charm throughout the town of Leysin.

Dining
Dining is varied with international dishes as well as Swiss specialities, and a good range of restaurants and bars, with reasonable prices. A major attraction in Leysin is Le Kuklos revolving restaurant, with its stunning 360-degree views of the Matterhorn, the Eiger and Mont Blanc.

Après Ski
Drinks are well-priced for a Swiss resort, making the resort a popular destination with the young and budget travellers. There is a good choice of bars, and family entertainment includes torch-light descents and fondue evenings.

Leysin is accessible via a scenic funicular railway ride from Aigle, with the original town sitting at the bottom of the mountain, and the newer resort further up, and both skiers and non-skiers treated to stunning views over the Rhone Valley.
