Learn to board packages - Enjoy group lessons in a fun communal environment
Learn to board packages are a great way to discover the thrills of snowboarding, and offer students a fun and lively environment in which to learn, as well as the support and company of fellow boarders, all with the same goal. As snowboarding requires a very different action to skiing, and a completely new movement and method of getting down the slopes, a ‘learn to board package’ is one of the best ways to begin. Learn to board packages make it easy for students, as everything they need is included, with snowboard and boot hire, a lift pass and lessons offered for the entire duration of the package. Tuition on a ‘learn to board package’ varies, but is generally at least 3 hours a day. Wide gentle nursery slopes are ideal for practicing technique, and tend to be full of other beginners just starting out, too. Those on a learn to board package can move on to steeper slopes as they progress throughout the week, mastering the basics of snowboarding and working towards eventually tackling some of the resort's more challenging red runs.
