Located on the French border, the Italian resort of La Thuile sits at the top of the Aosta Valley, and offers an excellent and generally uncrowded base for mixed ability groups. It shares its slopes with the French resort of La Rosiere, and is a popular base for heliskiing on the nearby glaciers.
