Ski School
A choice of 5 ski schools and independent instructors can be found in La Tania, including the huge French ESF, and lessons are offered in basic techniques as well as specialist disciplines.
Childcare
The resorts crèche, La Maison des Enfants, takes children aged 3 and up, with a choice of private babysitting services in town. ESF offers children’s ski lessons for those aged 4 and up.
Shopping
There is limited shopping in La Tania, with 4 ski hire shops in the village, selling ski clothing and sports equipment, as well as a newsagents, bakery, deli and supermarket. Much more shopping can be found in Courchevel and Meribel.
Dining
There is a choice of 8 restaurants feature fast food, pizza, and crepes, as well as local Savoyarde specialities and French Alpine fare.
Après-Ski
Not for party-goers, the town is home to 5 bars, offering the usual happy hours and themed nights, as well as pool tables and big screen TV for sporting events.
Town Services
La Tania has 4 banks (one with a cash point), a tourist office and a post office, and there is a free bus service that runs regularly to Courchevel 1850, and the other villages in the valley.
Medical Facilities
Although there are no medical facilities in La Tania, there are chemists in both Courchevel and Meribel, and a hospital in nearby Moutiers.
