La Tania is situated at 1400m in the famous Three Valleys ski area of France, it is a purpose built ski resort set in a pine forest. La Tania is positioned between Courchevel and Meribel and offers some of the best value for money in the Three Valleys. La Tania is a relatively small ski resort with excellent facilities and skiing ‘from the door’; there is easy access into the Three Valleys – an amazing 600kms of fantastic skiing and snowboarding. La Tania is a perfect ski resort for families offering excellent skiing and facilities at very reasonable prices.

Beginners in La Tania have gentle nursery slopes and a free lift right in the ski village; it is a perfect place to learn to ski. For intermediate skiers La Tania has the best access of all the local resorts to the Three Valleys ski area where the choice is endless. All skiers will enjoy the beautiful tree lined runs back into La Tania and the combination of north facing slopes and good snow making facilities ensures doorstep skiing late into the season. For advanced skiers there are 28 black runs across the vast area of the Three Valleys and plenty of opportunities for off piste excitement. There are over 110kms of cross country skiing trails in La Tania and the Three Valleys.

There is a snowpark in Courchevel, above 1850 and also a big park above Mottaret and terrain to suit every ability of snowboarder. The lift systems are mostly chairs and gondolas and there is plenty of accessible off piste.

Apres ski in La Tania
The apres ski is cheaper and more relaxed than the other local resorts, there are a few restaurants and some informal bars. If livelier apres ski is required it is possible to get a taxi to Courchevel or Meribel. There is paragliding, snowshoeing, torchlight descents, evening tobogganing, beautiful walking trails and a cinema in La Tania.
