La Rosiere Snow Conditions – Combine your holiday with skiing at La Thuile
La Rosiere is situated on the French/Italian border, and is linked to La Thuile, creating the Espace San Bernardo ski area, with its 150km of pistes. Across both (lift-linked) resorts, the snow cover is good, and you can have the time of your life skiing on high north and north-eastern facing slopes, as many are un-crowded, spacious and powdery, even during peak season. The two resorts receive an almost identical amount of snowfall each year – averaging at 5.5m. From December to May, upper slope snowfall averages can be as high as 288cm in March, and 78cm in January.
