Kranjska Gora Resort Facilites

There are 4 ski schools in Kranjska Gora with 30 ski instructors offering group and private ski lessons, as well as instruction in snowboarding, carving, cross-country skiing and telemark skiing. Tuition is highly rated in the resort. 

Kranjska Gora has a kindergarten offering non-skiing childcare for ages 2-6, as well as various ski lessons. Childcare is available in certain hotels, and babysitting services. A children's ski park is located at the foot of the slopes, and the resort has a playground and merry-go-round. 

 

The resort has a number of facilities from which to rent ski equipment, as well as a small selection of shops in the village, selling ski and sportswear, local handicrafts and gifts.   

Kranjska Gora is home to 10 restaurants, mainly homely family-run pensions offering traditional Slovene food, as well as a few international restaurants serving German, Chinese and Italian.

 

There is a low-key après-ski atmosphere in the 7 bars, pubs, coffee shops, teahouses and casino. Much of the evening entertainment takes place in the many hotels.

The town is small and compact, with everything within convenient walking distance. Services include a supermarket, tourist office, bank, post office and police station.

 

There is a chemist and medical centre in the village.
