Dining
Kitzbuhel has over 100 restaurants in the area, serving pizza, Mexican, Italian and Asian food as well as typical Austrian specialities. The typical Tyrolean fare is ideal for a substantial lunch or dinner whilst skiing, and features such hearty specialities as Wienerschnitzel (breaded veal), Kaiserschmarn (crepes) and Knodel (dumplings).
Après-ski
Knows as Austria’s' main winter entertainment centre, Kitzbuhel is almost as famous for its vibrant après-ski scene as its skiing. An international resort, there's something for everyone, with a host of lively bars and a choice of late-night clubs and discos.
