For adults who need a well-earned rest every once in a while, there are childcare and babysitting services available at most Kirchdorf hotels. Also, at nearby Kitzbuhel, you will find 4 supermarkets and a gourmet food store, along with a great choice of shops selling everything from ski wear and sports equipment, to designer goods and local souvenirs.

 

Kirchdorf has a few cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy traditional Tyrolean fayre or even international cuisine.

 

After an enjoyable day learning those skiing basics at Kirchdorf, you can enjoy a relaxing evening at one of the bars and cafes there. The Mauth, Castello and Dorf Cafe are all favourites with tourists and local people alike. 

 

At Kirchdorf there is a bank and cashpoint machine, but unlike town services available at St Johann, Waidring/Steinplatte and Fieberbrunn, the services at Kirchdorf are not extensive. The free ski bus links you to the other resorts, however. And if you head for nearby Kitzbuhel, there you will find a Tourist Office (open daily), a post office and various banks with at least 10 cashpoint machines.

 

At Kirchdorf, medical services/facilities are available at most of the hotels there. And at nearby Kitzbuhel you can find doctors, dentists, specialists, and even a hospital for medical emergencies. There are also 2 chemists at Kitzbuhel, which are open 6 days a week.
