Skiing in Kirchdorf
Kirchdorf is a small, charming Austria ski resort with breathtaking scenery, situated at 640 kms it has 1km of piste but the Schneewinkel area pass covers ten ski resorts and 170kms of piste, all linked by a bus service. Or there is the Kitbuheler Alpen lift pass which covers 700kms of skiing, although a car would be needed to access all the ski areas. Kirchdorf is a fairly short transfer from Innsbruck and Salzburg making it perfect for family ski holidays.

Intermediate and expert skiers staying in Kirchdorf have access to ten resorts including St. Johann on the Schneewinkel pass all linked by a free bus service. It is also possible to reach Kitzbuhel by car.

Kirchdorf is a small, relaxed ski resort with a few shops, bars and restaurants serving good value traditional and international menus. There is an excellent Wellness Centre in Kirchdorf with a swimming pool, sauna, steam room etc. There are also some walking trails and an ice skating rink.
