Keystone Resort Facilities

Keystone Ski and Ride School offers a range of lessons, from beginner's ski packages to private tuition and clinics in advanced skills. The resort is also home to an adaptive ski centre for skiers with disabilities and special needs. 

 

The Children's Centre at River Run takes ages 2 months to 6 years. Lessons are available for over 3's, and the resort offers special family lessons for parents and their children. Part of the ski area is designated just for children, including the Discovery Learning Area.   

Over 20 shops in the villages sell skiwear and equipment, and a range of clothing, jewellery and gifts, with more choice in nearby Dillon. The Silverthorne Outlets nearby has 80 shops, and offers an excellent range of bargains.

 

The resort has around 30 restaurants, including cafes, delis, grills, taverns and steakhouses for casual dining, and generally caters well for children and families. Keystone also boasts a choice of gourmet establishments requiring reservations and recommended as adult-only.

 

Keystone has 10 bars and offers a choice of ski bars and lounges with patios and fireplaces, live music and happy hours, as well as saloons, microbreweries and cocktail bars. Plenty of apres-ski options.

 

Limited facilities in the purpose-built resort, and mainly shops and restaurants located at the pedestrian village, and two supermarkets. Go to Dillon or Frisco for the nearest towns with banks, post offices, larger shops etc.

 

The resort is home to the highly rated Vail Valley Medical Centre, with its own trauma centre, and the nearest chemists are in Dillon.
