Apres-ski is laid-back and relaxed, with rustic inns and ski bars, some playing live music. There are also organised events such as fondue nights, live folk music performances and story-telling evenings.

There are good restaurants in town and up on the mountain, with local specialities including Tyrolean fare featuring hearty dumplings, noodles, cheese, pork and veal, and of course plenty of delicious cakes and pastries.
Sightseeing
Visit the town's 12th-century castle, or take a trip on the town's Gletscherbahn cogwheel railway, which runs to the peak of the glacier. Stroll around the stunning Lake Zell, or tour the city of Salzburg, with its historic sights.
