January is a perfect time to go skiing, with the promise of clear blue skies and crisp snow underfoot. The February crowds have not yet arrived, so there are no queues at the lifts and you can get the best table at all of the restaurants. What better way of spending a day than crowd free slopes, sunny restaurant terraces and a warm drink?

Due to a cancellation we have some great offers available in our Chalet Etringa in Chatel in the Portes du Soleil in France. This chalet has been recently upgraded with new bathrooms upstairs and a complete redecoration throughout. We have the following weeks in January available:

The cost includes transfers from Geneva airport but not flights, which you are welcome to arrange yourselves (for prices on cheap flights visit www.directline-flights.co.uk) or allow our staff to do so for you. Chalet Board, which is breakfast and afternoon tea every day and an evening meal with wine included for 6 of your 7 nights stay. Ski guiding for those of an intermediate level and above. Minibus transfers to and from the slopes, and the expert help of the chalet owners Coral and Chris.

Ski passes in Chatel start from £95 for a week's skiing and equipment hire and ski lessons is lower cost than the mainstream French ski resorts.
