The purpose-built resort of Isola lies in the Southern Alps and boasts a Mediterranean climate, with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy in the sunshine. Close to the Italian border, and also to the Cote d'Azur, there are also lots of day trips and excursions on offer.

The apres-ski scene is fairly laid-back, with a selection of bars and restaurants to choose from. The resort also holds concerts, barbeques and parties throughout the season. 

Day Trips

Day trips include the medieval village at Isola 17km below the resort, the thermal baths at Vinadio and the glitzy towns of the French Riviera, such as Nice, Monaco and Monte Carlo.
