Since its conception in 1934, Inghams Travel has grown into one of the UK’s leading specialist tour operators. As part of the Swiss travel brand Hotelplan Limited, Inghams has offices in Switzerland and other European countries. Hotelplan Limited, who also trade as Eurobreak and Just France carried a total of 1.9 million passengers in 2005, helping it reach a turnover was 1,728 million CHF. 

Inghams Skiing - A rich history
Inghams Travel was founded by Walter Ingham, who was born in the UK but moved in the 1920’s to Vienna. Inspired by the Austrian mountains, Walter developed a passion for skiing and in 1934 organised his first ski party. The trip was a success and five more followed that season. By the time of his retirement in 1962, Walter Ingham had spent 28 years building up a reputable company carrying 14,000 skiers each year. The company was promptly sold to Hotelplan and the rest is history.

Inghams Skiing features 94 ski resorts in 14 countries, offering a selection of hotels, chalets and apartments in the world's best ski resorts. Inghams provide winter holidays for all types, including not just ski holidays but snowboarding holidays, family ski holidays and group ski holidays. Inghams completed the purchase of Bladon Lines in 1995 to boost its ski programme with the addition of quality chalets and club hotels in top ski resorts.
