Family skiing in Mayrhofen

A good choice for those looking for a comfortable and relaxed base from which to explore the slopes of Mayrhofen, the Hotel Obermair offers a reasonably-priced option with excellent wellness facilities, just a few minutes from the centre of the resort.

 

The hotel sits on the edge of the town centre, with the bus transporting skiers to and from the Penken gondola stopping right outside. Guests can enjoy the peaceful location, but also have good access to all the facilities, with the resort centre just a 3-minute walk (300m).

 

Traditional in style and family-run, the Hotel Obermair is built in an authentic chalet design, and displays true Alpine charm and character. Comprised of the main building and a separate annex, the two buildings that make up the hotel each have their own entrance, and are connected by underground passageway.

 

The hotel has 30 bedrooms, featuring Austrian twin beds, private bathroom, satellite TV, radio, telephone, and safe, with most rooms having a balcony. Triple rooms accommodating extra beds or a sofa bed are available for a supplement. All floors are served by a lift.

 

Wellness facilities include a heated indoor pool with jet stream, sauna and steam room and solarium (for an additional charge). Hotel features also include a breakfast room and bar, with guests able to use the outdoor car park free of charge.

 

A hot and cold buffet breakfast is served, and an optional evening meal is available at the 4* Hotel Kramerwirt, located just a 5-minute walk.
